Our Beliefs

One God

We believe in one true God who has revealed Himself throughout history in various ways. He revealed Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit dwelling in the hearts of believers.

This one God is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible. He is eternal, infinite in power, and holy in nature, attributes, and purpose. His divinity is absolute and indivisible. He is infinite in being, beyond human comprehension, and indescribable in essence. Because God is infinite, He can only be fully known by Himself. He has no physical body or parts and is therefore not limited in any way.

The Scriptures declare:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29).
“To us there is but one God…” (1 Corinthians 8:6).

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is both fully God and fully man, and He is the one and only true God revealed to humanity (Romans 9:5; 1 John 5:20).

The God of the Old Testament manifested Himself in human form in Jesus Christ. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). As Scripture declares, “God was manifest in the flesh” (1 Timothy 3:16).

In Jesus Christ, divine attributes and human nature were perfectly united in a way beyond human understanding. He is called the Son of Man because He was born of Mary and took on human nature. He is called the Son of God because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and possesses divine nature. Therefore, we believe that Jesus Christ is God, for “in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9).

Jesus Christ is the everlasting Father and the promised Child given to us (Isaiah 9:6). He is the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:16–17), omnipresent (John 3:13), unchanging (Hebrews 13:8), and all-powerful. He demonstrated divine authority through miracles, mastery over nature, and the power to forgive sins (Luke 5:24–26; Mark 4:37–39).

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised in the Old Testament and poured out after the glorification of Jesus Christ (Joel 2:28–29; Acts 2:1–4).

We believe that the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that this experience is available today.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to witness for Christ (Acts 1:8), produces godly character (Galatians 5:22–25), and distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12; Ephesians 4). We believe that these gifts are given solely according to the will of the Spirit and cannot be imparted by human authority.

All members are encouraged to seek the Holy Spirit and to live continually under His guidance (Romans 8:5–16; Ephesians 5:18; Colossians 3:5).

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ, administered by an ordained minister. Baptism by immersion represents the believer’s death to sin and identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:1–5).

We believe baptism should be performed in the Name of Jesus Christ, as practiced by the Apostles and recorded in Scripture (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5).

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

We believe in the literal, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after His crucifixion, as recorded in the Gospels. This resurrection was foretold by the prophets and is essential to our faith, hope, and justification (Isaiah 53; 1 Corinthians 15:20; Romans 4:25).
